Having a snack on hand that not only tastes good but is healthy for you is the first step to succeeding in any new eating plan. When I’m starving, that’s when I make the dumbest decisions for my health! So, over the years I’ve learned to have a plan, make vegan healthy treats available at all times, and to never catch myself going beyond 4 hours without food. Here’s a nut and fruit mix that helps curb my hunger while providing protein and tons of satisfaction!

All ingredients I use are organic…so I don’t have to say organic 10 times!

1 cup of raw almonds
1/4 cup of raw pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup of raw pistachios (shelled)
1/2 cup of dried cranberries
1/4 cup of raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup of raw cashews
1/4 cup of roasted soy nuts
1/2 cup of dried cherries
1/4 cup of dried blueberries
1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients. I store the bulk of this in a large mason jar, or a couple pint mason jars, whichever you have available. Separate a couple servings into 4oz mason jars to take on the go!
